Alberto Garzón

Alberto Garzón is the general administrator of Izquierda Unida. He was born in 1985 in Logroño, although he has lived between Seville and Malaga for most of his life. He graduated in Economics at the Universidad de Málaga (UMA), he holds a Master's degree in International Economics and Development from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and he has been a researcher at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Sevilla. In 2011 he was elected deputy of Izquierda Unida by Málaga, which made him the youngest member of the parliament of the previous legislature. He is the author of Esto tiene arreglo (2012), La gran estafa (2013), La Tercera República (2014) and A pie de escaño (2015). On Twitter, with more than 778,000 followers, he is the most retweeted Spanish politician.
