Carmen Romero is from Madrid, red-haired, tall, introverted, right-handed, flexitarian, journalist and, above all, comedian. She is well-known for her short videos and humorous vignettes, characterized by her signature serious and sarcastic tone. Carmen’s comedy comes out of parody, using irony and humor to reflect on the events that have shaped her life and career. She has contributed to such media as Mongolia, El Jueves and La Lengua Moderna and has written for shows such as Hora Veintipico, No haber venido, Martínez y Hermanos, Estirando el chicle and Confesiones con el Padre Carmen on the podcast Malas personas. Currently she co-hosts the podcast Odio a la gente with Bianca Kovacs and tours Spain with Chochito, her first solo stand-up show. This is her debut book.
