Santi Balmes is the composer and singer of the indie band Love of Lesbian. In his literary vein, he is the author of the bestselling children’s book, Yo mataré monstruos por ti (I’ll Kill Monsters for You), translated into English, Danish and Italian, the humorous novel ¿Por qué me compristeis un walkie-talkie si era hijo único (Why Did You Buy Me a Walkie-Talkie if I Was an Only Child), the book of short stories La doble vida de las hadas (The Double Life of Fairies) and the poetry book Canción de Bruma (Song of Bruma). His latest novels, El hambre invisible (Invisible Hunger) and Bajaré de la luna en tirolina (I’ll Descend from the Moon by Zipline) continue the humor and hallucinatory stories of his first books. A Day in My Head. Songs for (not) Very Normal People is his first non-fiction book, dedicated to music in which he shares his favorite songs while inviting us to spend 24 hours in his head.
